Ema
Ema tanzt und Choreograf Gastón begleitet ihre Tanztruppe, die alle möglichen Orte Valparaisos in Beschlag nimmt. Die beiden hatten einen Buben adoptiert und waren überfordert – mit ihm und miteinander. Ema und Gastón durchleben zwar eine Krise, aber sie lieben einander heftig in diesem Liebesfilm in den Rhythmen des Reggaeton. Der Film taucht mit uns ein ins pittoreske Valparaíso, wo es überall hoch oder runter geht. Ema durchlebt einen orgiastischen Liebesrausch mit ziemlich allen Figuren in komprimierter Form und plädiert für das Anliegen ihrer Generation: Freiheit – ich will das, und ich will das jetzt. Die platinblondierte Mariana Di Girolamo und Gael García Bernal ergeben ein Paar, das man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.
